The D&AD New Blood 2023 brief for eBay wanted us to convince Gen Z to sell on eBay over their competitors. We decided to embrace gen z humour and create something weird, wacky and memorable. Curated By eBay is a PR stunt in the form of a pop-up museum. It harnesses the selling power of stories by showcasing selected items in a grand setting, making them more valuable. Inspired by surrealism, the animation is in the style of a digital collage. The video proved to be popular, even attracting the attention of eBay UK's Instagram account.
