Next WAVE: END OF YEAR SHOW ‘22

At the end of my second year of university, I was responsible for the creative direction of the identity for our local End of Year show in June 2022. As no student is the same, we initially intended to create a zine, each with our very own unique page. Due to time constraints, the identity became more uniform, taking inspiration from punk visuals. This direction was a nod to Southend’s music heritage, embracing the punk movement and its importance within youth culture. We kept within the spirit of the original zine idea by still providing everyone with their personalised page, featuring interests and facts about themselves, allowing them to show their work and personalities.
