I was approached by a group of passionate Southend United fans to design a logo for their brand-new podcast, Shrimperscast. As a local and lifelong supporter, with fond memories of attending matches home and away with my dad, the Blues have always been close to my heart.

The brief was to incorporate both a shrimp and a vintage microphone, so I combined the two into a distinctive and meaningful design. At the time, the club was facing significant financial turmoil, and the podcast became an essential source of news—not only for Southend United fans but also for football fans everywhere concerned about the situation.

Thanks to its relevance and authenticity, Shrimperscast gained considerable traction, and I’m proud to have played a small part in giving fans a voice during such a critical time.
